According to the Nigerian Presidency, 200 trucks will be used to load petroleum production at the government-owned Port Harcourt Refinery once it opens on Tuesday.
Sunday Dare, a presidential spokeswoman, revealed this on Tuesday using his official X handle.
This comes as the Port Harcourt Refinery started processing crude oil, according to a Tuesday announcement from the Nigerian National Petroleum Company.
“200 trucks are expected to load products from the refinery daily, Renewing the Hopes of Nigeria,” Dare responded.
“The Port Harcourt refinery has two wings,” he continued.
“With an installed production capacity of 60,000 barrels of crude oil per day, the Old Refinery comes on stream today.”
