In preparation for the Super Eagles’ doubleheader 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against the Mediterranean Knights, interim coach Augustine Eguavoen has revealed his 23-man roster.

Owing to injuries, Orlando Pirates defender Olisa Ndah and attacker Victor Osimhen of Galatasaray were left off the list.

Among the regulars that Eguavoen featured were Captain William Troost-Ekong, Wilfred Ndidi, Stanley Nwabali, Moses Simon, and Alex Iwobi.

On Friday, October 11, the Super Eagles will play the Mediterranean Knights at Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo. On Tuesday, October 15, the team will travel to Benghazi to play the Knights at the Martyrs of Benina Stadium, which is located 19 kilometers from Benghazi.

On Monday, October 7, all of the players are anticipated to report to Uyo.
