The 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) group stage opponents for Nigeria’s Super Falcons will be revealed on Friday. The Mohamed VI Football Complex’s Technic Centre in Sale, outside of Rabat, Morocco, will host the draw. The biennial competition will feature twelve nations vying for the top prize.

Among the teams competing are the hosts, Morocco; the reigning champions, South Africa; Zambia; and Ghana. Algeria, Botswana, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tunisia, Senegal, Tanzania, and Mali are also eligible.

The contest will take place from July 5th to July 26th, 2025. With nine championships, the Super Falcons are the most successful team in the competition’s history.
