Osimhen not in Galatasaray team that will play Gaziantep.

Victor Osimhen of Galatasaray will not play in his team’s Turkish Super Lig match against Gaziantep FK on Tuesday night.

This was revealed by Galatasaray in a statement posted on their website on Monday.

Osimhen, Ismail Jakobs, and Roland Sallai will miss the game at RAMS Park, according to Okan Buruk’s side.

A portion of the statement said, “Victor Osimhen, Ismail Jakobs, and Roland Sallai, who were transferred after the postponement date, will not be in the squad due to the status.”

The game was scheduled for the third matchday, but it was postponed. Osimhen, Jakobs, and Sallai were not registered at that time, so they were not allowed to participate in the game.

Osimhen will therefore have to wait to play for Galatasaray again after making his debut last weekend against Çaykur Rizespor.

Next weekend, at Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium, Osimhen, 25, will face his first major test in the Süper Lig when Fenerbahçe, led by Jose Mourinho, takes on Galatasaray.
