Allen Onyema, the chief executive officer of Air Peace, has urged the federal government to help remove a number of accusations against aviation industry participants.
Speaking to state house reporters following a meeting with Vice-President Kashim Shettima at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Tuesday, Onyema made this plea.
He said he was confident the current administration would pay attention to the aspirations of the stakeholders.
He said the aviation industry has been a volatile one ever since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
Due to supply chain problems, aviation has been a tumultuous industry worldwide since the COVID-19 epidemic.
“This is not unique to Nigeria, but the Nigerian government is paying attention to us and working to restore the sector’s ease of doing business.
We are also here to express our gratitude to the government for listening to us. We hope that more will be done to ensure that the many charges against us are dropped, and we are confident that the government will take action.
“The vice president and I just had a meeting, and he stated that the government is genuinely making it easier to do business,” he remarked.
