Rivers State Governor Sim Fubara Shuts Down NNPC and All Oil Companies in Rivers State Says “No Allocation for Rivers State, No Oil for Nigeria”
Sim Fubara, the governor of Rivers State, has taken a daring step by ordering the closure of NNPC and all other oil companies doing business in the state, stating that Nigeria will run out of oil if Rivers State does not receive federal funding.
Nigeria fell from fourth to twenty-fourth place in the world’s oil output rankings within minutes of the stoppage. Governor Fubara has publicly urged President Bola Tinubu and Minister Nyesom Wike to act against this position and bring Nigeria to a boil.
