According to reports, Victor Boniface will not play for Bayer Leverkusen against Freiburg in the Bundesliga.
This week, Boniface resumed full team training following a brief injury break. Last month, the 23-year-old suffered a muscle injury while playing for his country.
The strong striker has not entirely recovered from the injury, according to Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso, and will not play against Freiburg on Saturday.
Alonso informed the media that Jonas Hoffmann, Amine Adil, and Victor Boniface would not be able to play because of injury.
This season, the Nigerian international has made 15 appearances for Die Werkself in all competitions, scoring eight goals.
