Nigerians are encouraged to encourage their middle-aged mothers to use the social media platform TikTok, according to the mother of well-known Nigerian musician Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, also known as Ayra Starr.

According to Mrs. Aderibigbe, who is well-known on TikTok for her fashionable content, the app benefits middle-aged women’s mental health.

In a recent video message posted on her TikTok page, she made the assertion.

“I’m really appreciative of TikTok. Having each of you in my life as a part of me is such a blessing. I appreciate your help.

“If your mum is between 40-60 years old, encourage them to be on TikTok because it helps them mentally.

“I can attest to it because I’m now on TikTok. I think differently today than I did before. I’m thinking creatively now.

“My gaze is visible to you all. Therefore, please encourage your mothers and invite them to share their life experiences with us,” she urged.
