A few months after being fired by President Bola Tinubu, Kennedy joined Nollywood.
August 2023 saw the appointment of Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye as minister; on October 23, 2024, he was ousted along with four other ministers in a cabinet reshuffle.
Just four months after being kicked out of the government, the 51-year-old lawmaker has now turned her attention to filmmaking.
Announcing her acting profession on her X account, the former minister uploaded a video of her current project.
Kennedy who is also a lawyer and businesswoman, joined the All Progressives Congress, APC, in 2015 and becoming the party’s first female presidential aspirant in 2023, before ultimately resigning to back Tinubu.
