According to US Vice President Kamala Harris, the country is well prepared to elect its first female president.
She played down her historic run, claiming that all she wanted was to make history for a country weary of Donald Trump.
In an attempt to gain an edge in a contest that polls indicate is virtually matched, Harris and Trump are packing swing states with rallies and appearing on radio and podcasts in the days leading up to election day.
Harris said, “absolutely,” in response to the question of whether America was prepared to elect its first female leader, adding that her campaign was about making history.
She claimed that because Donald Trump is all about himself, people are fed up with him and his strategy.
Trump had presented a completely different message to his fans in North Carolina.
“This election is a choice between us starting the four greatest years in our nation’s history or having four more years of incompetence, failure, and disaster,” he stated.
During the event, he called Harris and her running mate Tim Walz dumb several times.
