Negotiations have begun for Al Nassr to sign Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface.
Fabrizio Romano, a football transfer specialist, made this revelation on Monday through his X account.
Romano claims that the Saudi Arabia Pro League team wants Boniface to take Anderson Talisca’s position, since the latter is currently en route to Istanbul to sign with Fenerbahçe.
“Understand Al Nassr has begun official talks for Victor Boniface as a new striker!” he wrote.
The Nigerian striker is negotiating to replace Talisca with Bayer Leverkusen.
“Jhon Durán is the other contender… However, Aston Villa is still adamant about keeping him on the team.
Last Monday, Boniface merely agreed to a 2026 contract extension with the Bundesliga winners.
The Super Eagles forward is now among Leverkusen’s highest paid players according to the deal.
The Bundesliga champions do not believe the 24-year-old is unsellable, even though they have extended his contract.
Leverkusen will require potential suitors to contribute at least €50 million.
