The 1993 presidential election was annulled as a result of the plotting of former Head of State Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, IBB, and MKO Abiola, according to revelations made by Nigerian Afrobeat musician Seun Kuti.

Seun Kuti asserted that Babangida and Abiola’s quarrel over money was the reason the election was canceled.

Abiola ran for president in 1993 as a member of the Social Democratic Party, or SDP.

IBB canceled the poll even though Abiola was the overwhelming favorite to win the election.

Abiola was taken into custody and imprisoned after the annulment.

But Kuti stated in an Instagram Live that Yomi Johnson fled to Nigeria after killing Samuel Doe. Doe was then encouraged to travel to Nigeria.

“Back then, there were rumors that Samuel Doe’s money incited an altercation between IBB and Abiola, leading the former Head of State to decline to award him the presidency.”

Seun Kuti also revealed that Dele Giwa’s effort to expose a wealthy Nigerian drug dealer led to his death.

“It was reported that Dele Giwa was going to expose a big man in Nigeria for selling drugs,” the speaker continued. The island is where the wealthiest children in Lagos sell the best hard narcotics in the city.

Then, what murdered Dele Giwa? How many actors and musicians were busted for using hard drugs prior to Yahoo’s launch? The drug trade has corrupted a great deal of people in this nation.
