A notable rise in the number of missing person complaints in the state has alarmed the Ogun State Police Command.
Omolola Odutola, the spokesperson for the Command, said this in a statement on Tuesday in Abeokuta.
“The command has observed an unprecedented increase in the number of missing persons across all age groups,” Odutola said.
She clarified that only a small portion of the people had been located, and unfortunately, many of them had not come home.

She added that the command was dedicated to educating the public about this alarming trend because it was a proactive, community-focused force.

“The Commissioner recommends parents not to let their children use commercial transportation services with strangers, based on information provided by those who were rescued.
