At Ebocha, in the Ogba/Ndoni/Egbema Local Government Area of Rivers State, troops of the Nigerian Army 6 Division have arrested four (4) suspects in possession of almost 4,000 liters of stolen condensates in a Toyota Camry with registration number ZKW 648 AA Kaduna and a tricycle.

This was revealed in a statement provided by Lt.Col. Danjuma Jonah Danjuma, acting deputy director of the Nigerian Army’s 6th Division’s public relations.

Additionally, he said, the forces demolished five (5) abandoned illicit refining installations that had multiple empty metal drums, and they apprehended two suspects near Omoku, Orashi River, who had a respectable amount of stolen condensates.

Danjuma claims, “The renewed crackdown was successful in Bayelsa State as well.

This was made clear in the Sabasuo general region of Nembe LGA, where more than 2,800 liters of stolen goods were found after active illegal refining operations were shut down.

Over 2,500 stolen goods were found after one operational illegal refining station in Amalakiri, Southern Ijaw, was put down.

“A wooden boat loaded with more than 1,800 liters of pilfered AGO in sacks was also seized by troops in the Ogbia LGA’s Idewa/Waribokiri general area.”
