Seyi Tinubu’s possible run for governor of Lagos State has generated a lot of discussion, with differing views on his qualifications and capacity for leadership. Respected community leader Chief Obidike Chukwuebuka, however, is pleading with the Igbo community in Lagos to change their mind because he thinks Seyi Tinubu’s leadership might greatly help them.
Chief Obidike noted that Seyi Tinubu is a solid contender for the governorship because of his dedication to unity, inclusivity, and leadership experience. He feels that Tinubu’s goals for Lagos, which are focused on improving infrastructure, boosting the economy, and raising the standard of living, are in line with those of the state’s Igbo population.
Supporters contend that Tinubu is constitutionally qualified to run for governor and has the capacity to effectively administer Lagos, notwithstanding reservations expressed by others regarding his eligibility and ability. With Chief Obidike’s support, Igbos are encouraged to view Seyi Tinubu as a possible friend who may help them overcome their obstacles and further their interests in Lagos as the 2027 elections approach.
