The Nasarawa State Hotel Owners Association has the support of the Nasarawa State Government. This development was revealed to Ibrahim Uthman Angbolo, the Commissioner of Information, Culture, and Tourism, during a courtesy visit by the association’s leadership.
The delegation, which included well-known hotel owners and other industry participants, was led by Paulinus Eze, the chairman of the Caretaker Committee. The main goal of the association was to work with the state government to implement policies and programs that would improve tourism, economic growth, and hospitality in Nasarawa State.
Mr. Ibrahim Angbolo, the commissioner of information, applauded the association’s initiative and noted the important contribution the hotel business makes to the state’s economy.
He underlined that the industry’s capacity to boost employment and uphold security by making sure guests are properly documented fits with Governor Abdullahi A. Sule’s goals for state security.
The hotel business plays a vital role in our economy by creating jobs and making a substantial GDP contribution.

He said that the cooperation will further improve the state’s economic prospects and cited the governor’s measures aimed at encouraging ease of doing business as having resulted in significant corporate growth and investment opportunities throughout the state.
Additionally, the commissioner emphasized the significance of tax compliance and urged the association to make sure its members pay their fair share of taxes. “Tax revenue is crucial for facilitating government support and inclusion in state activities,” he said.
Furthermore, Angbolo urged the association to support the government in keeping an eye out to stop criminals from using hotels as hideouts. He underlined how important it is to create a secure atmosphere for both locals and guests.
