Contrary to popular belief, Afrobeats musician David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, has stated that he hails from a polite household.
He clarified that his sporadic transgressions as a well-known person do not indicate that he was not raised properly.
During a Saturday courtesy visit to the Olu of Warri in Delta State, Davido gave a speech.
“I had wonderful parents who raised me. I come from a very polite background, but as OBO [star], I might act inappropriately sometimes,” he said.
Wizkid reportedly disparaged Davido’s family, saying that the “OBO” crooner wasn’t reared properly.
“You’ll know who this papa and family train folks when you see them! My uncle isn’t dancing on the internet, do you? Wizkid made reference to Davido’s uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, on his X account. Adeleke is referred to as the “Dancing Governor” due to his many dancing videos posted online.
