Nigerian Afrobeat musician Davido is a remarkable songwriter and melody maker, according to well-known rapper Nicki Minaj.
She disclosed this when outlining the motivations behind her most recent partnership with Davido.
The singer and Davido recently worked together on her most recent record, “If It’s Okay.”
But when a fan inquired about her motivation, Minaj said that she was motivated by her wish to incorporate an Afrobeat feel into her songs.
She called the Afrobeat artist an amazing music producer in a statement posted on her X Twitter.
“That dude is an amazing composer and writer. We respect each other so much that working with him is always enjoyable. I invited him to participate in order to bring out the Afro beats tempo/feeling in it a bit more. Naija to the world.”
