According to Bayo Onanuga, President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, his principle is not a president by accident.

Onanuga was responding to Matthew Kukah, the Catholic Bishop of the Sokoto Diocese, who said Tinubu was unprepared for the role of president and leader.

Tinubu, his predecessor Muhammadu Buhari, and other former Nigerian leaders are the result of a “accidental leadership cycle,” Kukah claimed on Sunday.

Kukah added that many of these politicians were ill-prepared when they assumed office.

Onanuga responded by dismissing Kukah’s position and emphasizing that Tinubu is a reformer trying his hardest in his role as president.

“He (Tinubu) is not an accidental leader,” Onanuga stated in a statement he signed. He is making every effort to guarantee that our nation undergoes a transformation.

Does he even resemble one? In other words, the man is not a leader by mistake. For this office, he was ready. He even admitted that he had prepared for it and was doing everything in his power to make sure this nation was raised above its previous level. He’s doing his hardest.

He is implementing numerous reforms because he readied himself for the position. He is attempting to ensure that this nation is being turned around, and he is touching every part of it.

“Those who said that the President is having difficulties because he is an accidental leader are mistaken.

Tinubu has demonstrated his reforming abilities, and changes are not carried out in quick fixes. It takes time for you to turn things around, and he is doing it.”
