Benue State Government has Clampdown on Benedictine order of peace and academy foundation over poor facilities and consequently sealed the institute.
The Director General of Benue State quality Education assurance Dr Terna Francis gave the closure of the school on Monday for lack structures in the school.
He stated we have previously visited the school and enjoined the properator to improve the facilities for conducive learning utmospher it failed on deaf ears as the instruction was not religiously complied
” Therefore restated the current dispensation has no tolerance for such indicies than to close down the school ”
” we can’t accept this kind of institution where you’re lacking basic instrument to run a standard insisting were not ready to compromise under this administration ”
Dr Francis explained that the building housing the school is uncompleted no decent windows to protect the pupils noting their exposed to danger is an upstairs more the ventilation is not conducive.
Speaking on the development the 0nwner of the Academy foundation Rev Fr Prof. Elias Torugh said given financial constraints in the country his running the school at snail space.
The Founder however admitted the laxity promising to turn around the needed structure in short possible time calling on government to temper justice in his case.
