According to Mr. Paul Ibe, the media advisor to former PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, President Bola Tinubu’s policies are based on trial and error.

Ibe claimed that because Tinubu never proposed any policies, Nigerians are today suffering.

In contrast to Atiku, who had “My Covenant,” he maintained that Tinubu lacked a clear economic policy framework, making him unable to rule.

Ibe stated in an interview with News Central: “Tinubu should stop looking back like Lot’s wife because he inherited both assets and liabilities when he became president; otherwise, he turns into a pillar of salt.”

“Obasanjo’s administration, which Atiku served in, began the process of removing subsidies. They did so in phases, and it was anticipated that later administrations, such as Yar’Adua, would succeed them because they thought a phased removal strategy would be more effective than a single, significant removal that could have repercussions.

“The removal was intended to proceed after they had done it twice, but sadly, we are in this situation now.

“Nigerians did not reject Atiku Abubakar; rather, the APC, in collusion with the criminal INEC and state institutions, stole the Nigerian people’s mandate.”

We are not aware of any policy-related presentations made by the Tinubu government; perhaps this is the reason they are frantically implementing their trial-and-error strategies.

“Atiku requested Nigerians to make imputes and they were revised when he delivered My Covenant to them; those are his policy recommendations.

We don’t know if Tinubu had any policy recommendations, and if he did, we wouldn’t be in this position now. The difficulties of governing were never something they were ready for.

You can’t be upset about things that have already happened since Tinubu, as a candidate, was aware of the status of the economy and the subsidy system.
