Ahmed Ololade, well known by his stage name Asake, is a Nigerian singer who has officially announced his departure from YBNL Nation.
There were rumors that Asake had split from Olamide’s YBNL in a contentious style.
By releasing his most recent single, “Why Love,” under his own label, Giran Republic, Asake officially announced his departure from YBNL.
In his first song of the year, “Military,” the singer earlier paid tribute to Olamide, putting an end to rumors that they were at odds.
In February 2022, Asake inked a contract with YBNL Nation.
Asake and Empire inked a distribution agreement in July 2022.
Asake continues to uphold his agreement with Empire even after leaving YBNL.
