The nomination of Bianca Ojukwu, the late Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu’s wife, as the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs will aid the federal government in some areas, according to Abia State Governor Alex Otti.
“The appointment of the former Nigerian Ambassador to Spain is a sign of the President’s “determination to open new progressive frontiers that would help his government succeed in critical areas,” Otti said in a press release signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ferdinand Ekeoma.
Governor Otti expressed confidence that Mrs. Ojukwu’s appointment would help the country advance her foreign policy and diplomatic relationships in a way that would benefit the country and her diaspora citizens, calling her appointment excellent and appropriate due to her rich qualities.
The Governor claims that given her background and impeccable record of excellence in public service, Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu’s appointment is not only excellent and appropriate, but it will also greatly benefit the country, particularly in the areas of foreign policy and diplomatic relations.
Assuring that the people of Abia State would support her in her endeavors, Otti continued by saying that the ministerial nominee’s dedication to justice and sound administration would aid the country in navigating its current sociopolitical difficulties.
