Despite her popularity and money, Afrobeats singer Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, better known by her stage name Ayra Starr, has disclosed that she still resides with her family.
In an interview with Coco Jones for Rolling Stone’s Musicians on Musicians issue, she revealed this.
She clarified that she has continued to include friends and family in her life despite her status.
When I return to Nigeria, I continue to live with my family. My brothers are playing video games and creating noise. My pals are still a part of my life. I ask them in our group chat what they think I should wear. I give thanks to God for my family and friends. However, there are moments when I have to vanish because it becomes too much to handle,” Starr stated.
