President Bola Tinubu announced the appointment of new ministers on Wednesday.

A brief overview of each of the new ministers introduced to Tinubu’s cabinet during the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.

1) Bianca Odinakachukwu Olivia Odumegwu-Ojukwu, born August 5, 1968, is a politician, diplomat, lawyer, businesswoman, and beauty pageant titleholder.

She is the widow of former Biafran President Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu. She has also won many international pageant titles, including Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, Miss Africa, and Miss Intercontinental.

She formerly served as Nigeria’s presidential advisor and ambassador to Ghana and Spain.

President Tinubu named her as the next Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.

2. Barr. Bello Muhammad Goronyo, the present Minister of State for Water Resources and Sanitation, has been appointed Minister of State for Works.

3. Dr. Morufu Olatunji Alausa, who formerly served as Minister of State for Health, is now Minister of Education.

4. Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, who formerly served as Minister of State for Police Affairs, is now Minister of Women’s Affairs.

5. Senator John Owan Enoh, the current Minister of Sports Development, has been appointed Minister of State for Trade and Investment (Industry).

6. Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite, the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, has been named as the new Minister of State for Finance.

7. Ayodele Olawande, the Minister of State for Youth Development, has been promoted to Minister of Youth Development.
