The activist stressed that the strain of standing out for others’ rights had worn him down and disclosed that the illness was brought on by excessive phone use.
He complained that his advocacy had cost him his solitude and that he had gained many enemies.
He insisted, nevertheless, that he had come too far to give up and that quitting was not an option.
