According to Kashim Shettima, the fact that the nation’s crude oil production has reached 1.8 million barrels per day is evidence that it is progressing.

During a one-day retreat for presidential aides and heads of units in his office on Saturday in Abuja, Senator Shettima provided the assurance.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is determined to change the fortunes of the nation,” he stated in an address to the retreat attendees. We all want to leave a cohesive and forward-thinking nation for the next generation.

 

“Yes, the economy has had and continues to face difficulties, but we have made progress. Our current oil production is 1.8 million barrels per day. The economy is expanding, and I think that in the coming year, the economy will grow in leaps and bounds.”

In order to help the president fulfill his mandate, the vice president advised all presidential advisers to collaborate more and put in more effort.

“The country is greater than all of us,” he declared. I implore you to act as a family and a team.

Earlier in his welcome speech, Senator Hassan Hadejia, the Deputy Chief of Staff to the President (Office of the Vice President), stated that the retreat was organized to allow aides to exchange ideas in order to guarantee the smooth completion of the duties given to the office of the vice president.

“Enhance strategic communication in the office, streamlining project funding and partnership, improving collaboration and synergy within the office, and enhancing collaboration,with ministries, departments and agencies” he added, was the main goal of the retreat.

Similarly, Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, emphasized the need for better cooperation throughout the presidency and praised the work of office aides, particularly on strategic communication responsibilities.

As for the aides, Dr. Aliyu Moddibo Umar, Special Adviser to the President on General Duties, urged them to apply their “knowledge and expertise, be humble and focused on the tasks at hand.” “We must complete the challenging work at hand. The job itself is the most important factor.

Mr. Olufunso Adebiyi, the State House’s Permanent Secretary; Mr. Tope Fasua, the President’s Special Advisor on Economic Matters; and senior aides in the office of the Vice President; Directors and Deputy Directors in the Office of the Vice President, among others.
