Richard, Tallen’s only son, is mourned by former minister of women affairs.

Richard Adamu Tallen, the sole child of the late Dame Pauline Tallen, the former Minister of Women’s Affairs, passed away.

After being admitted to Cedar Crest Hospital in Abuja, Richard died away early on Sunday, October 6.

According to reports, on Friday night, October 4, Richard was put on oxygen in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU). However, the precise cause of his death is yet unknown.

Richard’s former school, Vom Old Boys’ Association (VOBA), confirmed the tragedy by posting the devastating statement on social media.

We regret to inform you of the untimely passing of Mr. Richard Adamu Tallen, one of our members. “May eternal light shine upon him, and grant him eternal rest, oh Lord,” the group wrote on Facebook.

Richard, 42, had graduated from an American institution with a degree in computer science. Three kids and his wife are his only survivors.

The family is expected to make an announcement regarding Richard’s funeral plans in due course.
