Ahead of President Bola Tinubu’s visit, the House of Representatives has entered a closed-door session.
The National Assembly’s joint session is set to hear President Tinubu’s presentation of the 2025 budget.
Recall that on Monday, the Federal Executive Council (FEC) approved a budget of N47.9 trillion. The president is anticipated to submit the budget to lawmakers in a formal ceremony.
It was noted that the National Assembly was surrounded by strict security measures, with DSS officers stationed in key locations.
At the National Assembly, troops from the Presidential Guards Brigade have also arrived.
