Real Madrid manager congratulates Rodri on winning Ballon d’Or

Finally, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti thanked Rodri, the 2024 Ballon d’Or winner.

Remember how Rodri defeated Vinicius Junior of Real Madrid to win this year’s Ballon d’Or?

Vinicius, Ancelotti, and the other Real Madrid players did not attend the Paris, France, award ceremony.

The results of the Ballon d’Or disappointed them.

But in an interview with the media prior to Real Madrid’s matchup with AC Milan in the UEFA Champions League, he also emphasized that the Los Blancos had won their own Ballon d’Or on June 1.

“Well done to the winner of the Ballon d’Or, but that’s the past. On June 1st, we took home our Ballon d’Or,” Ancelotti declared.

“The Champions League victory we achieved in London was our Ballon d’Or.”
