Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the general election of 2023, has advised the younger people to never give up on Nigeria and to remain steadfast.
Speaking to young Nigerians at the Social Media Fest, or SMFest, event in Owerri, Obi posted on Sunday using his official X feed.
Through ideas, exposure, and insights that help people and businesses understand how to explore all the benefits of digitalization, SMFest is a platform that teaches its audience how to use technology, social media, and innovation to advance their businesses, brands, and causes.
The former governor of Anambra State acknowledged that Nigeria was going through difficult times, but urged the young people to have patience and perseverance, emphasizing that success comes to those who stay the course, even in tough times.
Indeed, Nigeria is facing difficulties at the moment, but the younger generation’s fervor is giving those of us in our later years strength.
