Okupe – VP Shettima ranks as one of  most “brilliant” politicians from North

Former presidential spokesperson Dr. Doyin Okupe asserted that Vice President Kashim Shettima is among the most intelligent and well-spoken politicians in the North.

In a post on his X name on Thursday, Okupe made the claim, stating he needed to examine Shettima’s character more closely.

“I have not been a friend of Vice President Alh Shetima since the GEJ Administration.

But ever since he was appointed vice president, I’ve had to examine his character more closely. He wrote on X, “This gentleman is probably one of the most intelligent, clear-cut, and articulate politicians from the North.”

Before this, Okupe served as the Labour Party (LP) Presidential Campaign Council’s Director-General.

But in January of this year, he left the Labour Party, claiming ideological disagreements as the reason for his withdrawal from the party following the 2023 election.
