The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) confirmed today, October 22, 2024, that five of its soldiers were sadly killed in a road traffic accident on the Jos-Akwanga Express Road near Hawan Kibo.
Air Commodore Olusola Akinboyewa, Director of Public Relations and Information, stated that the personnel were their route to a sporting event in Abuja when their vehicle collided with an oncoming truck.
This sad occurrence has sent shockwaves across the NAF community, and the organization has implemented statutory administrative measures to assist and soothe grieving families.
