Odera Gregory Mbadiwe, the 33-year-old brother of Big Brother Naija stars Ozee and Ocee Mbadiwe, has been found unharmed by the Lagos State Police Command after going missing on the 1st of September.
Odera was declared officially missing by the BBN stars on Wednesday September 3, sharing his photos on their Instagram page, they said he was last seen at Victoria Island in Lagos State on Monday morning.
The Public Relations Officer, DSP Babaseyi Oluseyin in a statement on Thursday said Odera was located earlier today, thanks to actionable tips from the public for the breakthrough in the Mile 2 area.
“The Lagos State Police Command wishes to inform the public that one Odera Gregory Mbadiwe, aged 32, earlier reported missing and whose case went viral on social media, has been located by police detectives attached to the Lagos State Police Command today, 4th September 2025, at about 8:30 a.m.,” the Force declared.
“Acting on actionable intelligence and with the support of public-spirited individuals, he was traced to the Mile 2 area of Lagos State, where he was found hale and hearty, though in a distressed state. He has since been reunited with his family and is receiving medical attention and proper care. In the course of the investigation, the vehicle was also recovered,” he said.
The police spokesperson added that CP Olohundare Jimoh commended the swift efforts of police operatives and the cooperation of the public, whose information led to Odera’s recovery.
