Nigeria’s star in the just finished 62nd Miss International pageant, Perpetual Ukadike, has significantly changed the course of history. She was the first African to win the coveted Missosology Choice Award and the first Nigerian to place in the Top 20.
Perpetual sent an emotional message on Instagram after winning the Missosology Choice Award, saying, “I’m so grateful, I’m so happy.” I will treasure this with all of my heart. I appreciate Missosology considering me deserving of this honor. I sincerely appreciate it; I don’t take it for granted. I cherish you.
She also posted joyful pictures of herself with the trophy.
Vietnam’s representative, Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy, won the title of Miss International this year.
