Contentious American musician Kanye West has begged President Donald Trump to grant a pardon to Sean Combs, often known as Diddy or Puff Diddy, who is incarcerated.

More than 30 legal cases accusing Diddy of sexual assault and other wrongdoing are pending. He is in incarcerated in New York pending a federal criminal trial for racketeering and sex trafficking.

On Thursday, Ye used his X page to request that Trump free the troubled hip-hop entrepreneur.

He wrote, “@realDonaldTrump, please free my brother Puff.”

In September of last year, Homeland Security detained Diddy on suspicion of interstate prostitute transportation, racketeering conspiracy, and sex trafficking.

Diddy entered a not-guilty plea on Tuesday, September 17, denying all of the counts. But again, his bail request was denied.

Diddy apparently suffered a knee injury recently and was brought to a hospital in Brooklyn. After obtaining treatment, he was returned to his cell.

Later this year, his trial is scheduled to begin.
