Ademola Lookman has received a nomination for the prestigious Gran Gala del Calcio Awards’ Serie A Forward of the Year category.
The other forwards nominated for the award are Rafael Leao of AC Milan, Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram of Inter Milan.
Gain Piero Gasperini, the manager of Atalanta, is also a candidate for Coach of the Year.
This season, Lookman has performed admirably for Atalanta.
In 14 games across all competitions, the 27-year-old has eight goals and five assists.
Last season, the Nigerian scored 17 goals and provided 10 assists for La Dea in all competitions.
In the 2024 Ballon d’Or rankings, the winger came in at number 14.
He is the clear favorite to win the CAF Men’s Player of the Year award in 2024.
