According to the Dangote Refinery, in the last several weeks alone, it has exported Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) to Ghana, South Africa, Cameroon, and Angola.
claiming that while jet fuel is being transported in large quantities to European markets, diesel has also been exported worldwide.
Anthony Chijiena, the spokesperson for the Dangote Group, made this claim.
He claims that when hosting a team from the Japanese Business Community in Nigeria, which was headed by Suzuki Hideo, Japan’s ambassador-designate to Nigeria, Vice President of Oil and Gas at Dangote Industries Limited, Devakumar Edwin, made this announcement.
Edwin said this while reaffirming that Dangote Refinery Petroleum products are already exported throughout the world and satisfy international requirements, Chijiena clarified.
“We have exported gasoline to Cameroon, Ghana, Angola, and South Africa, among other countries, in recent weeks,” he stated.
Jet fuel is widely sold to European markets, and diesel has spread throughout the world. International recognition is already being achieved by our products,” Edwin stated.
Takashi Oku, Managing Director of the Japan External Trade Organization, stated in his remarks that the refinery is an impressive project that demonstrates the nation’s technological advancements.
Oku went on to say that Nigeria is extremely proud of the plant, which is the biggest single-train refinery in the world.
“Although we had heard about the Dangote Refinery’s greatness from the media, we were genuinely astounded by its size and magnificence after visiting it in person.
It illustrates how Nigeria’s population is expanding while also progressing technologically. We are eager to work with Nigerian businesses, particularly Dangote Refinery,” he stated.
