According to Dangote Refinery, the Nigerian government has failed to meet its goal of providing oil to the domestic refinery as part of the Naira-for-crude agreement.

In a recent interview with Reuters, Devakumar Edwin, vice president of Dangote Industries Limited, revealed this.

In comparison to the volume required to scale up the manufacturing of refined goods, Edwin claims that the quantity of crude received from the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited is “peanuts.”

He emphasized that since the program’s start in October, the NNPCL has failed to meet the goal of delivering at least 385,000 bpd.
