Dr. Anthony Fauci, Gen. Mark Milley, and other individuals who some believe may be the subject of investigations under the upcoming Trump administration have been pardoned by President Joe Biden.
Hours before he is scheduled to leave the White House and President-elect Donald Trump takes the oath of office once more, Biden was pardoned.
According to Fox News, a long list of those connected to the January 6 select committee probe are also eligible for the pardon.
Members of the Select Committee, their staff, and the police officers who testified before the Select Committee in the U.S. Capitol and the D.C. metropolitan area are all eligible for the pardon.
“Given these extraordinary circumstances, I cannot honestly do nothing.
“The lives, safety, and financial security of targeted individuals and their families are severely impacted by baseless and politically driven investigations.
In an alarming statement, Biden said, “Public servants have been subjected to ongoing threats and intimidation for faithfully discharging their duties.”
