France Football, the organizers of the Ballon d’Or awards, intend to impose a new regulation beginning this year.
With more than two weeks until the event on October 28, there have been speculations regarding who will receive the prize.
Vinicius Junior of Real Madrid is highly predicted to win, beating over Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham, and Rodri.
Vinicius was superb as Los Blancos won both the LaLiga and Champions League crowns last season.
However, according to The Athletic journalist Mario Cortegana, the winner of the 2024 Ballon d’Or would not be interviewed by France Football before the award ceremony, as has been customary in the past.
Cortegana states that the winner will know they have won when the envelope is opened during the live ceremony.
