Controversial crossdresser Bobrisky has been given a 12-hour ultimatum by human rights attorney Femi Falana and his son Folarin, also known as Falz, to withdraw his accusation of defamation against them.

In audio obtained by well-known social media critic VeryDarkMan, Bobrisky stated that Falana and Falz came to him to assist him in obtaining  N10 million presidential pardon.

Falana and Falz responded by refuting the accusation, which has sparked debates on social media.

However, Falana and Falana’s Chamber sent a cease-and-desist letter on October 14, 2024, in which they characterized Bobrisky’s accusations as harming their reputation.

Taiwo E. Olawanle and Olorunfemi Akinyemi signed the cease-and-desist letter, which called for Bobrisky to recant and provide a public apology.

We are the attorneys for Mr. Femi Falana SAN and Mr. Folarin Falana, also known as Falz (hereafter referred to as “our clients”), and we are writing this letter on their behalf in response to your defamatory remarks.

We have verified that you exploited your recent incarceration to demand money from several artists and other citizens.

In actuality, you have released a list of people who paid millions of naira to our client to create a letter of pardon and bribe public officials on your behalf because they thought your tale was false.

“Your decision to enlist our customer in your illegal operations was entirely a fantasy. Our client was never told to write a letter of pardon for you, contrary to your baseless claims.

It’s obvious that you made these careless defamatory remarks while fully aware that you neglected to call our client to ask for a letter of pardon. You were never contacted by our client about any other issue.

Thus, we demand that you immediately retract your defamatory remarks and provide a widely publicized apology on all platforms where the false assertions were disseminated.

“We will pursue legal remedies, including monetary damages, for your malicious defamatory statements if you do not formally retract and apologize within 12 hours of receiving this letter.”
