Nigeria and Russia will face off in a friendly in 2025.
According to Russian journalist Bartlomiej Banasiew, Jairo Pachon, the FIFA match agent, is working hard to organize the game.
“Our representatives are working with the Russia Football Federation to organize a friendly match between Russia and Nigeria.”
“This match is about as good as it gets,” said Pachon, as quoted by Banasiew.
The match is likely to be played during the FIFA window.
The organisers are also expecting to sort out the site.
This will be Nigeria and Russia’s first meeting at the senior level.
